The High Pressure Autoclave Unit is designed to perform screening tests on high pressure extraction/reaction/drying with compressed gases and liquids. A solid source material is
placed into the autoclave sample baskets, the gas e.g. CO2 is compressed and passed into the electrically heated autoclave. Co solvents or other liquids may be fed into the autoclave
via dip tubes. A magnetic stirrer plate is used to enhance the solution of the liquid and gas. The Autoclave can be rotated by 90° for cleaning and sample preparation/removal.
